Become. Connecting. Growing. Multiplying.

Banah Group

What is Banah Group?
The word Banah is a Hebrew word that means to build. Our job as a Christian
nation is to build God’s Church, and we do this by teaching others how to follow
Jesus. In short our job is to make Disciples of Jesus Christ; Matthew 28:19-20.
The Banah Group is made up of students interested in this call of Jesus, to help
the New Hope church be as effective as it can be to make Disciples of Jesus Christ.

What does the Banah Group do?
I’m glad you asked! The Banah Group:
1. Connects with new students during the Teen Connection on Sunday Morning
2. Prays regularly for those who have requested prayers
3. Makes contact with students who have been missed on Sunday or Wednesday Night
4. Provides Daren with feedback when He asks for it on a variety of different topics

Does the Banah Group meet?
Yes we do! We Skypecast every other Sunday Night at 8:30 PM. Most of the time our
meeting times are between 45 minutes to an hour. We discuss prayer requests,
we pray and we talk about how to better serve those who need Jesus.
If you don’t know about SKYPE ask Daren for details.

Can I belong to the Banah Group?
YES! If you profess a relationship with Christ;
(the exception is for those without internet)
sorry, but, the Skypecast is the best way for us to keep in touch...

What are the expectations of those who belong to the Banah Group?
1. You are consistent in your walk with Christ...in other words,
when you’re around your friends you act the same as if you
are in the presence of Jesus Himself.
2. You commit to the SKYPECAST
3. You follow through on the commitments you agree to...
For example if you agree to face book a student
we expect that you will follow through on that.
4. You will keep private conversations between you and other students
     confidential...uh...you won’t spread gossip.
5. You will look for new students, or for students who you don’t know,
during the connection time on Sunday and talk with them
6. You have read, understand and agree with the Banah Group Orientation
7. You will have fun serving Jesus!
